1. Au Wing Ning was born in 1909 in Canton, China.

2. He came from a family of 3 generations of kung-fu masters and Chinese
medical practitioners.

3. Au Wing Ning's father was an outstanding 'Choy Gar' kung-fu master and he
was called 'Iron Hand Au Fat.'

4. Au Wing Ning first learned 'Choy Gar' style from his father and later
learned the Tibetan Lama kung fu style from monks 'Tiet Sim See' and 'Ching Wai.'

5. When Au Wing Ning was 21 years old he heard there were two brothers
teaching White Crane kung fu.

6. Upon further checking, Au Wing Ning found that the White Crane style was
very similar to the Tibetan Lama style he had learned.

7. After years of Pak Hok Pai White Crane kung fu style training under White
Crane masters Ng Siu hung and Ng Siu Chan, Au Wing Ning emerged as the top
student of Ng Siu Ching

8. In 1949 Au Wing Ning moved to Hong Kong and established several schools
under the name Au Wing Ning's White Crane Academy.

9. Grand master Au Wing Ning passed away in Hong Kong and his leading
disciples are continuing his White Crane academies.
